The year 1926 saw the leaders of the Caribbean striking the first blow that gave birth to Caribbean unity.
It was at the Conference of 1926, in Georgetown, Guyana, that labour leaders like A.A. Cipriani and H. N. Critchlow gathered with other Comrades to move towards organising the workers of the Caribbean.
